Hi all!! My name is Karl Kynes and I have been an Evertonian for the past 31 years. My love affair with The People’s Club began during the 1982-83 season when Everton had the beginnings of what could probably have been the greatest team in Europe at the time. Since then I have read alot about the history of the club and learnt alot about the many heroes who have graced the grass of Goodison Park. I am hoping that through this blog Everton fans can find a forum to discuss their views on their own experiences of being a Toffee and I would greatly appreciate any anecdotes of what it means to them. I have passed my love of Everton on to my daughter, Kayleigh, who at the age of 8 had already been priviledged enough to meet the Everton squad in person for the first time in January 2007…a night etched in her memory forever. She has gone on to learn more about the club any chance she gets with the tradition of “And if you know your history” in mind and I’m delighted to be able to have hope for her that she may see the glory days (and possibly European nights) return to Goodison Park.
